2020 Porsche Panamera
The 2019 Porsche Panamera GTS is powered with V8 engine. The available upgrades for handling make this one of the best-managed groups. Advanced management assistance features are optional and add a lot of money to the limit. With its excellent performance, the Panamera GTS feels like a performance saving compared to the more expensive Panamera Turbo. The 2020 GTS’s standard air suspension lowers the 2020 Panamera’s ride height by about 0.4 inches, and larger, 15.3-inch steel front brakes offer improved stopping power. You can also fit the larger, ceramic composite brakes from Porsche for a negligible $ 8,970, which offers a strong stopping power, but I think the standard steel brakes will go well for the vast majority.
The 2020 Panamera GTS is perfectly at home on any paved surface. Maneuvering around the city is easy to maneuver and the air suspension provides small bumps and blemishes with aplomb. Take it out on a long stretch of highway and you appreciate the effortless passing power of the twin-turbo V8 and the blunt stance, as this large four-door devours hundreds of miles at a time. Browse a curvy canyon road and the Panamera GTS handles the kind of diligent athletics you would expect from a Porsche. The GTS has an incredible dynamic width, from a comfortable cruiser to a day-breaker.
Other GTS-specific upgrades include 20-inch wheels (21s are optional) and a sports exhaust, the latter of which does an excellent job of amplifying the external roar of that large V8 engine. The GTS carries unique front and rear fascia, although only the sharpest of Porschephiles can spot it. Inside, the GTS only adds Alcantara fabric to the seats, headlight and steering wheel. (Maybe I’m in the minority, but I hate the way this stuff feels on a steering wheel. Bleak.) Oh, and GTS badges. I must have badges.
2020 Porsche Panamera Interior
In terms of comfort inside and ergonomics, the GTS is in line with every other Panamera. The front seats offer great support, both to keep you in place during a brilliant ride and to beg your rear for road trips. The two rear seats are equally beautiful, with plenty of legroom, but a slight lack of headroom.
The advantage of the Panamera hatchback is that it is actually quite functional when it comes to grocery shopping. There is 18.3 cubic feet of space with the rear seats folded, which is about the same as a compact transition. Fold the backrest flat and the cargo container swells to 49 cubic feet, which is only slightly less than what you get in Porsche’s Macan SUV. Of course, if you really want to drive more than just ass, keep in mind that Porsche offers the Panamera GTS in ooh-la-la-la-roof Sport Turismo cover.
2020 Porsche Panamera Engine
Under the bonnet, the GTS has the same 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 as the Panamera Turbo, which was inspired to deliver 453 horsepower and a 457-pound torque. The numbers do not represent a notable increase in the 440 hp and the 405 pounds offered by the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 in the Panamera 4S, but the GTS is not about the right power. However, that’s not to say it doesn’t pack a punch. Off the line, the big V8 offers tremendous driving power; the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is shifted from view as you rotate through the gears. The GTS comes standard with Porsche’s Sport Chrono package, which features launch control, which means it will run from 0 to 60 km / h in 3.9 seconds, placing it precisely between the Panamera 4S and Turbo in terms of acceleration .
2020 Porsche Panamera Safety
The Panamera’s brakes are one of its best safety features, providing incredible stopping power from any speed; it can be upgraded to high specification ceramic items, should you wish. All cameras are standard with different airbags, including knee pockets at the front and curtain airbags in length. Porsche’s side impact protection system must ensure structural integrity in the event of a collision while the ‘active’ bonnet in the case of pedestrian impact emerges, providing cushions against unforgivable and hard engine components. A mandatory set such as electronic stability control and ISOFIX rear 2020 Porsche Panamera child seat mounting points (with the option of adding a third to the front seat) is present and correct.
