The 2020 Porsche 911 is currently available as a coupe and convertible. The Porsche 911 is an excellent luxury sports car, and its redesign in 2020 does not change what has historically made it an amazing car. The 2020 Porsche 911 is sleek, stylish, and especially remarkably fast. Its handling is unimaginably precise, and yet it rides comfortably on everyday roads. Inside, this Porsche looks and feels fantastic, with supportive front seats and plenty of standard and available technology features. Some rivals are more powerful and some are nicer on the inside, but few competitors capture the essence of what a luxury sports car should be, as well as the redesigned 2020 Porsche 911.

The standard equipment on the Carrera includes 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, summer tires, adjustable suspension (PASM), LED headlights, parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, and leather upholstery. Technology features include two USB ports, a 10.9-inch touchscreen interface, a navigation system, Apple CarPlay, WiFi on board, and an eight-speaker audio system.

2020 Porsche 911 Interior

Inside, Porsche 911 looks stylish and modern and is quiet even at highway speeds. High-quality materials are plentiful, but some reviewers note that some plastic pieces will not make the 911 feel as luxurious as some of its competitors. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system with a 10.9-inch touch screen, navigation, two USB ports, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a sound system with eight speakers, satellite radio and Radio Plus.

Available features include a sunroof, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a 13-speaker Burmester sound system, and the Porsche Track Precision app. The PCM infotainment system is easy to control in different ways: you can use the touch screen, the few physical buttons, or voice commands, and it recognizes handwriting. iPhone users also have the option of Apple CarPlay. Radio Plus is one of the more interesting features in this Porsche. It integrates regular radio with internet radio, so if your favorite station has an online channel, it’s never out of reach.

2020 Porsche 911 Engine

Porsche 911 is available with two power steering configurations. The 911 Carrera has a two-turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 379 horsepower. The Carrera S has a more powerful version of this engine that delivers 443 horsepower. An eight-speed PDK automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard, though the 4 and 4S models come with four-wheel drive. A seven-speed manual gearbox is also available. These engines offer a serious muscular ability, and they can cover the 911 in less than four seconds from zero to 60 km / h. The PDK dual-clutch transmission shoots smooth, well-powered gearshifts. Picking up a slower vehicle is just as easy as pushing down the slides once or twice.

2020 Porsche 911 Safety

The standard safety features include a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking. Available active safety features include night vision assistant, customizable cruise control, customizable headlights, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and a parking camera system with a surround-view. The 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera was not tested by the National Road Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Expressway Safety.
