The 2020 Dodge Durang is a good midsize SUV, offers a soft ride, seating for up to eight people and comfortable infotainment features to use. Although the Durango base engine acceleration is simply sufficient, the optional V8 engines produce much more power. However, this Dodge SUV is far from perfect. The weaknesses include poor handling and poor safety scores for the class, has less cargo space and poorer fuel economy than many of its competitors, and its interior quality is also inferior.

The available third row is optional in the base finish and standard in all other models, increasing the seating capacity to seven. Three-row models are available with second-row captains taking the limit to six people. The first and second-row seats are comfortable, even on long rides. It’s easy to get to the third row, and even adult travelers need plenty of space there.

The Durango’s two optional Hemi V8s are more limited than alleviating any concerns about power or acceleration. The first, a 5.7-liter engine, delivers 360 horsepower and is standard in the Durango R / T. The Durango SRT is equipped with a 6.4-liter V8 of 475 hp. Both of these muscle car-inspired power wires launch the Durango with authority and deliver excellent transient power. In fact, the SRT can start from zero to 60 km / h in 4.4 seconds.
